Fall City Arts Vision Statement
Overview
Fall City Arts is a non profit organization that serves as an advocate for the arts in the community and as a partner in community development. Our purpose is to be a trusted and knowledgeable resource for visual and performing art in our community. FCA produces and promotes diverse quality arts programs, activities, and education for all ages, acts as a clearinghouse for arts services and information, and serves as a liaison for artists, schools, affiliated associations, government services and the community.

Supporting Art Education in our local schools
Fall City Arts believes learning and practicing the arts disciplines and is critical to the well rounded development of children's minds and spirits. We feel the arts are inseparable from the very meaning of the term education. FCA will stay connected to our local schools through various means; members who have children in area schools, members who work in the local school district, attending various school sponsored meetings and events as well as keeping abreast of what WA state Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction and the Snoqualmie Valley School District is doing to promote Art in our school system.

Supporting the Passions of our members
We are a part of this organization for a number of personal reasons, but one that links us all is our passion for the Arts. Each of us respects and supports one another's diverse passions and we work together to help develop the goals of the individuals within the group by contributing our time, energy, skills and ideas. We also call upon the connections and resources we have in the Fall City community to bring the best possible experience to our events and services. We respect and support each member's passion through flexible leadership. We value the diversity within our group and acknowledge each member's strengths.

Art Reach
One of our most important responsibilities is to be a knowledgeable resource for Art. We are the source for Art information, connections, ideas, artist support and education in the Fall City community. We call this "Art Reach"- Our term for reaching out to the community so that FCA is recognized as an approachable, reliable, consistent, accessible art resource. To insure that the community has a clear idea of who we are and what we do FCA offers consistent, recognizable marketing of our events. We are continually building and refining the marketing tools that we use to advertise FCA and our events. There are many avenues available to FCA to continue to promote our existence and strive to be the art resource for our community. For some suggested conduits please see attached Addendum. Everything we market will have a consistent and professional image to instill the quality and expertise of FCA. Our reputation is to offer diverse, quality programming at the local level to further connect our community to Art. We will also work hard to promote the artists that live and work in our community to the outside world so that they can continue to be supported and successful in their endeavors. We tailor our events and audiences for the best possible experience for both the artist and the individuals attending. Some of our events are small and intimate and designed primarily for our local community. Other events will be marketed to a wider area encouraging people from outside our community to come and see what Fall City and its Artisans can offer.

Organic Growth
As an organization we will grow organically based on the needs of our members as well as those of our community. By continually connecting art and the community our membership will grow as well as our event offerings. We are a grassroots organization concerned with making a local impact. We recognize that there are many art and cultural events available within a short distance of our community and we need to make sure that we focus our energies on events that will have the most impact on our community. As we grow our reach may extend across the valley, but our first commitment is to the schools and individuals that live in Fall City.
